MEET OUR Trainers

Brent Brinkmeier, Certified Master Personal Trainer

 Brent Brinkmeier is the founder of On The Brink Fitness and a Certified Master Personal Trainer with over two decades of experience in the fitness industry. His journey began at Belmont University in Nashville, TN, where he minored in sports medicine. While he discovered early on that injury treatment wasn’t his passion, this led him to pursue a more proactive path focused on health and performance.

After earning his first personal training certification in 2002, Brent worked across nearly every facet of the industry—from big-box gyms to in-home and online training. Over time, he realized his true passion lay in private, one-on-one personal training. In 2015, he founded On The Brink Fitness, creating a uniquely personalized studio experience that empowered each client to transform their health and lives.


Ten years later, Brent proudly passed the torch to the next generation of On The Brink Fitness, continuing his mission of promoting lifelong health and wellness.

Casey Lauritsen, CPT functional Fitness Trainer

  Casey Lauritsen is the owner of On The Brink Fitness and a Certified Functional Fitness Trainer with a strong background in anatomy, biomechanics, and sports therapy. She began her career as a licensed massage therapist in 2006, working with professional athletes including the Tennessee Titans. Over the years, she earned national certifications in Sports & Rehabilitation Therapy and Therapeutic Training Techniques, deepening her expertise in injury prevention and recovery.

After facing multiple back surgeries and a spinal fusion that ended her massage career, Casey found a new path through personal training. What began as her own rehabilitation turned into a passion for helping others restore movement, build strength, and prevent injury.

At On The Brink Fitness, Casey works with a wide range of athletes and specializes in Functional Strength & Conditioning, Corrective Exercise, Post-Rehabilitation Training, Mobility Work, Neural Re-education, Core Stability, Injury Prevention and Performance Enhancement. Her training sessions are fully personalized — blending hands-on knowledge with a deep understanding of the body to help each client move better, feel stronger, and provide life-enhancing results.

Jonathan Chapman, NASM CPT

  Jonathan Chapman is a Personal Trainer and Movement Specialist dedicated to helping people move better, get stronger, and achieve long-term, sustainable results. With a degree in Exercise Science and certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM-CPT), Jonathan combines a scientific foundation with hands-on coaching to create highly personalized training programs.

As a former competitive athlete, Jonathan understands the discipline and mindset required to train with purpose — but also the importance of keeping movement safe, efficient, and adaptable to each person’s goals and lifestyle. His coaching philosophy is rooted in intentional movement, measurable progress, and building functional strength that enhances everyday life.

At On The Brink Fitness, Jonathan works with clients of all backgrounds — from beginners to seasoned athletes — focusing on strength development, mobility, injury prevention, and performance enhancement. Whether you're recovering from setbacks, training for a goal, or just looking to feel better in your body, Jonathan creates a supportive, results-driven environment that meets you where you are and moves you forward.

His mission is simple: to help you build strength that lasts — in the gym and beyond.
